For what ever reason, the public service part of the job has been ignored by the Justice Court of Precinct One, Place One. I am a firm believer that every elected person from the White House to the Courthouse is a public servant. I have spent my entire adult life being a public servant serving on various city appointed boards and commissions, civic groups, and the last twenty-three years as a police officer for the City of San Marcos.
My volunteer and leadership roles:
Youth Service Bureau - Board of Directors
Greater San Marcos Youth Council - Board of Directors
San Marcos Youth Council - Past President
San Marcos Mayor’s Commission on Youth
Sights and Sounds of Christmas - Board of Directors, Past Chair
Playscape Project - Founding Board of Directors, Original Volunteer Coordinator
Cattle Baron’s Ball - Committee Chair
Heritage Association of San Marcos - Board of Directors, Past Chair, Life Member
